Yes, while it is an older advisory, our repair department has still been seeing this issue with cameras that come in on a regular basis. Not everyone knows to check recalls and service advisories, and since this particular issue is still happening, we thought it would be good to point out.
So, if someone happens to have one of these models with the affected serial numbers and is having a problem, Nikon is still currently repairing them.
I guess I should state next time if it's an old or brand new advisory so there's no confusion.
It says the advisory was issued in August 2009?
