The camera produces 3.25 x 2.5 inch exposure pairs on roll film, and both images are then viewed in a special viewer. One image is viewed with the right eye, and the other with the left, and the brain blends them together for the 3D effect. The No. 2 Stereo Brownie functions with the use of two lenses, two bellows and two coupled shutters.
The No. 2 Stereo Brownie features two meniscus achromat lenses with four aperture settings, a brilliant finder with hood and sliding focusing with automatic stop. The camera also has a three speed Stereo Brownie automatic shutter, and uses 125 roll film. The camera is 9.75 x 4.5 x 2.5 inches in size, and weighs approximately 29 ounces. This model has a handle conveniently located on top for ease of transportation. The Kodak No. 2 Stereo Brownie also has a distinct look with the red bellows, wooden lens board, brass shutters and leatherette covered wood case.
